FAQs
What if my badge stops working?
Here are some common reasons why badges stop working or appear to not be working:
You do not have access to the location you’re trying to reach. If you do not have access yet,
please have your supervisor submit a C·Cure Portal request.
Your badge may be damaged. Please come by the ID Badge Office in the Central Building, 3rd floor,
Room 3D/29 and we will check it.
Equipment may be malfunctioning. If your badge and those of other employees are not working on a
reader, please submit an ISS work order request.
You can also call 501-526-0000
to report the issue to the Operations Call Center.
How old is my badge?
Small numbers along the bottom left side of your photo show the month and year the badge was made. For
example, 0919 indicates September of 2019. You may use this number
to determine if your badge is old enough to be replaced with an updated photo for free.
How do I request access to an area?
Your supervisor must submit a request through the C·Cure Portal. It usually
takes 24 to 48 hours to process a request.
If you find a badge reader or other security equipment that is not working, submit a
Work Order Request.
You can also call 501-526-0000 to report the issue to the Campus
Operations Call Center.
How do contractors get badges?
Contractors must complete health and safety training before they can get badges. Classes are held at 7:30 a.m.
on Wednesdays in ED 2, Room G141 A/B. The training is free.
A new contractor badge is $13 and is valid for a year. For more information, contact OH&S at
