Employees who transfer from off-campus to the main campus may bypass the general waiting list according to their original date of hire. Employees whose transfers are significantly distant from their current parking places are eligible for reassignment. Their hire date, the distance involved, and availability are factors in reassignment approvals. Please contact Parking Operations for assistance with transfers.

Employees may trade parking places, but one of the parties must complete the Parking Trade Form and send it to parking@uams.edu. Parking Operations reviews proposed trades to determine if they are fair and equitable to both people and to those on waiting lists. When proposals are approved, both parties must visit the Parking Office together to finalize the arrangement. If either party's employment on the UAMS main campus ends within 60 days of a finalized trade, the trade may be revoked.
