The UAMS Police Department is the official law enforcement agency for UAMS. In addition to our law enforcement duties, we can provide escorts and help with some vehicle problems.

The UAMS Police Department
We provide comprehensive police services to patients, visitors, and staff around the clock, 7 days a week. The UAMS Police Department is one of the largest higher education law enforcement agencies in the state.
All of our officers are certified by the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training. They have full police powers on property that UAMS owns or leases and are fully-authorized to enforce all Arkansas laws.
