Patient & Visitor Verification and ID Badges
Patients and visitors are required to show a form of identification (preferably a photo ID) at the Guest
Services desk. Appointment verifications and directions are provided. A badge will be issued and must
be worn above the waist, remaining visible at all times during the visitation period.
Patient & Visitor Mini-Shuttle Service
UAMS mini-shuttles are available for patients and visitors traveling between the Hospital, Central Building,
Cancer Institute and Outpatient Center.
Our mini-shuttle provide service on campus from:
7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday-Friday
Patients and visitors may request mini-shuttle service with any clinic or Guest Relations attendant.
Concierge Wall Phones are located in these areas to call for a pick-up service.
Chancellor Suite 2A Entrance.
Outpatient clinics, 4th floor.
Concierge Services
To ensure you or your family member’s hospital stay is as convenient and comfortable as possible,
UAMS offers visitors and patients an array of concierge services.
In addition to providing basic information about the hospital, Cancer Institute,
Jones Eye Institute and Jack Stephens Spine Center, concierge staff members can provide:
Entrance greeters to assist patients and families for drop off services.
Provide directions for appointments.
Wheelchair Assistance.
Patient and Visitor Mini-Shuttle Services.
