Parking Operations goal is to provide reliable access to parking facilities while assuring the facilities intended use. As UAMS continues to grow, it is essential we manage our parking resources effectively and efficiently.
The U●Park validation system is web based and is used to validate patient/visitor parking electronically. U●Park validation will allow department's tighter financial control, the ability to monitor parking validations in real-time and improves accuracy and efficiency.

U●Park Parking Access Revenue System (PARCS)
The goal of U●Park PARCS is to better serve our customers with reliable access, convenience and assure the parking facilities intended use through improved infrastructure and equipment technology. The UAMS Parking Operations has grown significantly in size and scope over recent years to meet increased demands for patient, visitor and staff parking. As UAMS and area agencies continue to grow, it's imperative that we manage our parking resources effectively and efficiently.
Patient/Visitor Parking
Complimentary Parking Passes are issued to each patient upon admission to the hospital. The Complimentary Pass is good for 7 days and allows 1 vehicle to be parked in patient/visitor parking area at any given time. If inpatient stay exceed 7 days, Hospital Admissions will issue an additional pass.
Patient Parking Passes are available to patients and their guests for periods of extended stay. The cost is $10.00 and is good for 7 days. The Patient Parking Pass is available for purchase at any Parking Pay Station on campus.
The majority of Ambulatory Clinics validate patient parking. Please check with the clinic regarding availability of validation.
Cash is accepted at the Pay Stations which are strategically located in and near patient parking facility. Only credit and debit payments are accepted in the exit lanes. Cash is not accepted in the exit lanes.
Parking Ambassadors are easily identifiable by their lime green shirts and can assist patient and guests with their parking needs. They also complete preventative maintenance on parking equipment and support parking compliance. Remote assistance is available at the push of a button from both the entrance and exit lanes on campus. IP Phones and IP Video re used to provide quality customer service.
Note: In an effort to reserve prime parking for patients and guests, UAMS employees and/or students are not allowed to park in patient/visitor parking areas during peak hours which are Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. While employees and students can park in patient/visitor parking area between 4:30 pm and 8:00 am Monday through Friday, 24 hours/day on weekends and UAMS observed holidays, hourly parking rates will apply.

U●Park Validation
Parking Operations utilizes the U●Park electronic validation system that gives the departments the control and monitor their parking validations.
U●Park Validation users have an icon placed directly on their desktop. The U●Park validator can enter or scan the parking ticket number located on the parking ticket, select an account, and validate the ticket. In addition, departments are able to run reports and monitor parking charges. Please review current courtesy accounts to verify funding and contact information. We also ask that you identify those who you wish to process validations in order to assure that the validator receives proper training and access to the system prior to implementation.
New User Training
U●Park Validation Training is available and records your training to the Training Tracker. All validators are required to complete the training course prior to receiving access to U●Park Validation.
