along with numerous connected clinical systems and interfaces that keep patient care information
flowing across the organization.
Integrated Clinical Systems and Technical Application Support
We have four specialized teams whose members ensure that Epic and other mission-critical clinical
applications contain accurate, secure information captured in dozens of other patient care and
clinical applications.
Our Integration team develops and maintains interfaces on the Rhapsody integration
engine and Epic Bridges module. These platforms serve as the vital link between Epic
and third-party vendor applications, processing an average of 3.2 million messages
each day.
The team manages hundreds of interfaces and provides workflow analysis and custom
development to ensure seamless data exchange and efficient operations.
Clinical Systems
Our Clinical Systems team ensures seamless connectivity across UAMS by supporting
more than 50 third-party applications that integrate with Epic and other critical
systems.
We work closely with vendors to configure and implement software and connected medical
devices, providing ongoing maintenance, technical expertise, upgrades and support
throughout each system’s lifecycle.
Radiant
Our Radiant team supports the Epic Radiant (Radiology) module, which manages the
entire imaging workflow—from ordering and scheduling to interpretation,
documentation and delivering results to patients.
Radiant, along with the Radiology Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS),
integrates with numerous third-party applications. The Radiant team supports these
third-party applications and ensures their integrations function seamlessly for
reliable data flow across systems.
Technical Application Support
We implement essential code changes in Epic to ensure that UAMS complies with Epic
standards to maintain peak performance.
