Catering cards are a handy way for your department to buy food and beverages for small groups. They are designed to provide meals for 7 or fewer people. Charges are billed to the department every month. What are catering cards?

Requirements for catering cards

The department is responsible for all transactions. Cards must be stored securely.
Only authorized users may use them.
Only retail outlets listed on a card will accept it.

What are catering cards?

A simple, easy way to buy meals for seven or fewer people. Small groups often use them to put together a last-minute team meal or refreshments for meetings.

How do they work?

Catering cards are similar to credit cards because:

Only the people whose names are on the front of the card may use it. The limit is 3 users per card.
They have a limit. Departments set their own limits, but they can never exceed $75 per day.
They can be used only at the places named on the front of the card. You may choose no more than 3 retail food outlets.

How do I use a catering card?

Choose some tasty food or beverages for your group at a food outlet listed on the front of the card.
Present your ID badge with your department’s catering card to make the purchase.
Enjoy!

How does billing work?

Your fund and cost center will be billed for all purchases at the end of every month.
The department is responsible for any transactions made with these cards. Please protect cards in a secure place.

How do I order a card?

Enter your UAMS credentials and click Log In, then complete the form.
After you submit the form, you’ll get an email to confirm your request.
Your card will be custom-printed with department name, authorized users and selected locations within 3 days.
Nutrition and Hospitality Services will contact you when it’s ready to arrange for pickup or delivery.
