APR Respirator Hands-On Training

We offer personalized hands-on training for the Versaflo PAPR and Breathe Easy PAPR respirators.

Note: If you need an N-95 respirator fit test, Please go to the N95 Respirator Approval Process page.

Requirements:

1. You must have a current medical clearance on file. (See details on the PAPR Respirators Approval Process page).
2. You must have completed the appropriate 3M Versaflo (PAPR) - Powered Air Purifying Respirator training course or the 3M Breathe Easy PAPR training course in Workday within the last 90 days.

   If you have completed the required training today, it may take up to 24 hours to reflect in the respiratory protection database. Please allow sufficient time for the system to update before scheduling a hands-on appointment.

   Note: Print or take a photo of the training certificate, and bring that to the scheduled Hands-On Training.

Scheduling and No Show Policy

• You can schedule available training time slots up to 30 days in advance.
• You can cancel your scheduled hands-on training up to 1 hour before the scheduled time by calling EH&S at 501-686-5536.
• If you fail to show up for your scheduled hands-on training, a notification email is sent to you and to your supervisor.
