Department of Microbiology and Immunology
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is one of the five campuses comprising the University of Arkansas System, and is the state's sole medical school and principal biomedical research center. The Department of Microbiology and Immunology, one of the basic sciences departments in the College of Medicine at UAMS, educates medical students in the fields of infectious diseases and immunology, and trains and educates our next generation of scientists. The Department strives to promote excellence in teaching, research, and service, and to provide students with outstanding educational and research experiences.
