REFRESHER POOL

PRN Pool for RN's who have not practiced at the bedside more than 1 year but less than 5

Applicant must agree to the following program outline before submitting application.

Program Outline:

1. To complete Staff Education orientation and 40 hours of clinical orientation on a designated medical/surgical area. 
2. Upon completion of orientation, area manager to evaluate applicant's eligibility to continue employment within the PRN Pool. 
3. If eligible, applicant required to work (1) shift/week or 48 hours/month during probation period (90 days). 
4. Upon successful completion of probation period, required to continue working (2) shifts/month.

If applicant agrees to above program guidelines: 

1. Nurse Recruitment will accept and forward application to Staff Education, and Clinical Service Manager - PRN Pool. 
2. Staff Education to contact applicant (3-5 working days) to schedule appointment for pre-screening and area selection. 
3. Staff Education to forward pre-screening tool and area selection to Clinical Service Manager - Pool/Area. 
4. Applicant to contact Clinical Service Manager - Pools (501-686-5691) to schedule PRN interview and orientation requirements.
