  1. Dr. Fu is Research Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and member of the College of Pharmacy Division of Radiation Health.

  2. Dr. Fu’s research focuses on total body radiation survivorship issues, particularly on the molecular mechanisms of vascular-endothelial cell injury and the importance of such injury in the pathogenesis of radiation induced normal tissue toxicity, and on development of medical countermeasures against radiological/nuclear accidents or terrorism. Dr. Fu has published 40 peer reviewed scientific articles and book chapters.

  3. Dr. Fu received his MD degree from Nanchang University, P. R. of China, in 1983 and his PhD degree in Radiation Medicine from SooChow University, P. R of China, in 1996. Dr. Fu received his postdoctoral training in Molecular Biology from Fudan University, P. R of China, and University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, AR, USA.
